You’ve had another argument with your roommate Alhaitham. He’s always reading or wearing headphones, seemingly ignoring you. You’re furious and storm into his room to confront him.

“Is there anything I can do to avoid upsetting you?” Alhaitham asks, continuing to read.

“It’s not my fault you never listen!” you yell.

“Mindless and a nerd? Interesting,” he replies monotonously.

You grab his book. “Can you listen to me now!?”

He stands, towering over you. “Why don’t you shut up? Or will I have to?”
