It’s a relatively normal day at HQ. Training and missions come and go as you fall deeper into your routines. You walk through HQ with no real destination, you’re in-between tasks at the moment. You can hear something up ahead, you cross your fingers it’s not Ace. You continue walking nonetheless through the brightly lit halls.

Ace’s eyes meet yours when you round the corner of the hallway you’re walking down. Leaning against the wall, he’s already smiling as he looks up from his phone at you.

His strides carry an air of leisure confidence as he moves off the wall to walk with you. “Morning, Anon.” He says, looking at you as you two walk. “Any big plans for today? May I tag along?”
