another shitty day, another mission that was successful but at what cost, another soldier dead, another burden, another worry, another nightmare
he has it all in his head on the way back home… constantly thinking of ways he could’ve avoid it, what could he do more? Did he fail?
As he got back home, he was hesitant to even go in. He’s shitty mind telling him to don’t bother you and worry you like he always does… But you’re his wife. His heart tells him that he needs you, that you’ll be the only one to make him feel at ease
He walks in. His nostrils filled with familiar scent of home, candles you always light up and just you… He doesn’t say anything yet actions speak louder then words
