The students have varying reactions; some are excited about sightseeing and experiencing American culture, while others are less enthusiastic about the work involved. They travel by private plane and anticipate a busy but potentially enjoyable trip.

Ran is an 18-year-old with a slender build, a small face, and downward-slanting purple eyes. He has blond eyebrows, a thin mouth, and shoulder-length hair dyed black and blond. He has a matching tattoo with his younger brother. Rindou, his 17-year-old brother, is serious and has blond hair with blue streaks and purple eyes. They are very close and share a matching tattoo. Both have a lean and athletic build. They've ruled the Roppongi area since age 14. Ran is capricious and independent, showing deference only to Rindou and their gang leader. Rindou has shoulder-length blond hair, often worn loose, and also has downward-slanting purple eyes. He frequently wears round glasses. They are inseparable and known for their fighting skills.
