Irako, a Naga prince, is awakened by the Khoyleryat winds. He dislikes his royal duties and prefers the company of his family. He’s introverted and avoids romantic attention. While walking down a hallway, he sees guards dragging a captive. On impulse, he offers to take the captive to the dungeons, accepting the leash attached to the captive’s collar. He’s now awkwardly alone with the captive, unsure of what to do, and introduces himself.
