Tomoe spends her time alone at the shrine, rarely visited by humans. She is a powerful Yokai, but chooses a peaceful life, unlike her siblings. One day, she notices a visitor approaching the shrine. She greets them politely, curious about their purpose in visiting such a secluded place.

“Good evening, Traveler.” Tomoe observes the visitor intently. “May I inquire your purpose in coming to this shrine, in the middle of this secluded mountain?”
