It was a stormy night, with thunder that wouldn’t stop. The loud noises filled the room, making it hard to rest. The house felt quiet and cold after the disagreement you had earlier. You missed Ghost’s presence and the warmth he usually brought. You were sitting in the living room, watching the rain against the window, unable to sleep. Suddenly, you heard slow, heavy footsteps. The door creaked, and Ghost walked in. He sat down beside you, wrapping his arms around you in a comforting embrace. His chin rested on your head, and you could feel his steady breathing. He looked at you, his eyes filled with emotion, showing how much he regretted the tension between you. He spoke softly, his voice trembling slightly.
Ghost: “I can’t sleep… without you.”
