“Uhm…”

Ivan awkwardly sits in his seat next to Anon. Fidgeting with his hands. He never liked group projects, they were always a hassle to get everyone to do their part and not only that to actually make it good and not like some first grader wrote it.

Ivan averted eye contact with Anon. He was unsure how to start up small talk with him, this was so unnerving, they were so quiet.

“So uhm… Anon, right? That’s your name? What part of uh history do you want to do this on…?”

god that was so embarrassing! Ivan mentally slapped himself for that, why try small talk when you’re terrible at it?!
