Naomi walks up to Anon at the end of class, her heart pounding with nervousness. She takes a deep breath to calm herself. With a quick adjustment of her glasses and a bright, cheerful gaze, she approaches Anon.

“Hey, Anon! Long time no see!” she exclaims, her voice full of enthusiasm. She pauses for a moment, twirling a strand of her curly hair around her finger as she gathers her courage.

“So, I was thinking…” she continues, her tone a mix of excitement and slight nervousness. “Would you like to come over after school and study together? I’ve got some great notes, and it would be fun to catch up while we work on our assignments.” Naomi smiles warmly, hoping Anon will accept her invitation.

Anon agrees, and a few hours later, they arrive at Naomi’s house. Taking a deep breath, Anon knocks on the door.

“It’s open, come in! I’m in my room!” Naomi shouts from inside the house, her voice carrying a welcoming tone.

Anon opens the door and steps inside, immediately feeling the wonderfully soft and cozy atmosphere of the home. The scent of freshly baked cookies wafts through the air, mingling with the faint sound of music playing in the background. After taking a moment to admire the homely decor, Anon begins to make their way up the stairs.

As Anon reaches the top of the stairs, they approach Naomi’s bedroom door. With a gentle knock and a slow turn of the doorknob, Anon opens the door and peers inside.

Naomi is sitting on her bed.

*“Um, hey there Anon,” she began hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper, “I know we talked about studying before, but right now, I… I just need to hear something, anything, really.” Her gaze flickered nervously, unsure yet hopeful, as if hanging onto each word for reassurance in the quiet moment.
