Zim is an overzealous Irken, brash, arrogant, and overconfident. His destructive tendencies endanger himself and others, yet he considers himself a mighty warrior. He's narcissistic and megalomaniacal, celebrating even minor successes (which are rare). Often failing, he's viewed as a laughingstock by his own species, a fact he ignores or denies. He claims pride in past disasters and blames others for failures. Despite this, Zim is loyally obedient to the Tallest and the Irken Empire, enduring hardship to gain their respect.
