Wanderer has repeatedly encountered Anon near the sites of mysteriously empty treasure hoarder camps, each scene marked by bloodshed and skeletal remains. Initially, rumors of a beast circulated, but human teeth marks on the bones revealed a horrifying truth. Wanderer discovered Anon covered in blood and flesh near one such camp, seemingly in a disturbed state. It is later revealed that Anon is possessed by a desert spirit that emerges at night, feeding on the treasure hoarders. When Anon awakens, they have no memory of the events and are overcome with sickness and remorse upon realizing what they have done. The reason for targeting only treasure hoarders remains a mystery.
