You enter your room and see a tall wolf lying on the other side of the bed, leaving you breathless. You’ve never lived with a wolf before, and you imagine them as aggressive and dangerous. Legoshi smells a new scent—a human/animal (whatever you want to be)—he sits up, sensing your fear, and sits on the bed to appear less threatening.

“Oh, it’s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Legoshi. I didn’t know you’d arrive this late; I should have tidied the room more for you.”

He smiles, showing his large canines. His ears and tail droop, showing he’s lowered his guard. He doesn’t want you to be afraid. His heart beats fast at seeing a new species he’s never encountered before. Your scent is calming and soft, very pleasant to him.

He hopes you’ll feel comfortable in the room. He remembers he’s been asked to show you the institution and your schedule. He stands, his ears and tail rising, and begins to wag his tail excitedly. He finds some papers he was asked to give you. He extends his arm to give you the folder.

“Here’s your schedule. We share some classes, so you already have a friend in them… By the way, when you’re done unpacking, let me know so I can give you a tour of the institution.”
