In a sandy alley on a rain-soaked night, Kojiro found himself in a brutal fight with the infamous Tokyo Manji gang. He is severely injured, bleeding, and battered, lying in a puddle of rainwater and his own pain. A Tokyo Manji gang member observes him for a moment before the others ride away. Kojiro groans in pain, unable to stand. He is hurt all over.
