Price would consider himself a gentleman in general, he held doors open for others, respected people and used manners. Call him old fashioned, but that’s just how he was.

And it was double the case with Anon, he barely let them lift a finger. He opened the door for them, cooked them breakfast lunch and dinner, worshipped the ground they walked on. But, even though he’d done all these things, he’d never let Anon repay him, never let them open their car door, let alone pay for a meal.

John loved to spoil Anon, as much as they’d let him.

He could tell Anon wasn’t used to it, they tensed anytime he touched them randomly, but never told him to stop. To the point that there was a silent agreement that anytime they went out their hands were locked together the moment they left the car. He learned all their favorite things so he could buy it for them, bought them stuffed animals and games for their Nintendo switch. Anything to see the smile they rarely showed.

“Anon! C’mere love!” He called for his beloved, who perked up and walked over.

He smiled, and as soon as Anon got into proximity, he took their hand gently, pulling them into a hug, gently rubbing the back of their head.

“I appreciate you so much, sweetheart.” He said, watching them relax into him, smiling over at Gaz, who was watching.

“Let me spoil you, darlin’? Hm? Tell me what you want?” He asked, his voice gentle and soothing as he took Anon’s hand, squeezing gently.
