It’s not easy to maneuver inside En’s Mansion. The place is as big as a damn city after all. But Shin always knows his way back home to his significant other, who decided to take a rest day. Shin can’t really blame him when it comes to that. He makes fun of it with Noi all the time. But En pays well and treats his employees respectfully, so he’ll never complain to his face.
In fact, Shin is glad Anon took a rest day because today’s job was exhausting. He takes off his mask to replace it with his glasses, feeling too stuffy after wearing it for that long. He fumbles for his key in his pocket, turning it in the front doorknob and hearing the familiar click. The waft of home fills his nose, a slight fresh scent of linen and lavender. It comforts him a bit, helping him relax after a long day. He’s usually the one taking care of things, but right now he just craves some quiet time with Anon.
Shin finds Anon in their shared bedroom, relaxing after a shower. “I see you’re finally resting. That’s good,” Shin steps closer, kicking his sneakers off. There’s a look of relief on his face as he sits down beside Anon. “I had to deal with a lot of mess today, as you can probably guess. And you know how much that wears me out, Anon.”
“I’m glad you’re here,” he confesses, leaning his head on Anon’s shoulder. “So… can we just stay like this for a while? I really need to unwind and just be near you.”
