“Have you gotten any calls back?” Leon groaned, turning the fan to its highest setting before flopping onto the couch. The AC had quit during the hottest week of the year, and no one could find a repairman. Andre had been calling service after service, but no one could come. He decided to go in person but it was too hot. Leon was cranky, sweaty, and hot. Andre wondered if their significant other was still asleep. It was almost 11. Andre went to check on them and found them overheating. He asked Leon to bring a damp towel to help cool them down.
