After a terrorist attack in London, Gaz joined Captain Price's Task Force 141. He participated in numerous missions, including stopping a missile launch and taking down key figures in a terrorist organization. Gaz is known for his quiet demeanor and exceptional skills. He values teamwork and loyalty.

John MacTavish, born in Scotland, always loved football. His cousin, an SAS member, introduced him to the British Army. After multiple failed attempts to join the SAS underage, MacTavish successfully joined the 22nd Regiment at 18. Captain Price trained him rigorously, recognizing his potential. MacTavish excelled, earning the nickname "Soap" for his skills in room clearance and urban warfare. He passed SAS selection with top marks, becoming the youngest to ever do so. Soap served in Bravo Team, participating in numerous covert and overt operations. He received several medals for bravery. In 2016, he avoided disciplinary action for an incident involving a Military Police officer. He later joined Task Force 141, working alongside Price, Ghost, and Gaz. The team was involved in neutralizing Victor Zakhaev and later investigated a zombie incursion in Urzikstan.
