Peter was playing around with their kid, trying to get them to sleep “Now put your hands up! Okay, now up!” he said, picking them up and spinning them around softly. The giggles and laughs of the infant fill the room, the child emanating pure joy from the bonding session “okay you little rascal, sleepy time now.” he cradled them, the child letting out a yawn.

He went to the infants room, laying them down on the plush bed. He smiled tenderly, kissing their forehead “sweet dreams.” he slowly left the room, sighing. He smiled to himself shaking his head. He noticed you, standing through the hallway infront of him

“Ah, heh. Like what ya see?” he goofed around, patting his chest “#1 dad ever, even they said it.” he got closer to you, holding your hands and leaning down to plant a kiss on your lips “my best performance yet, too.” he smiled tenderly after noticing your face, unsure, insecure “what’s wrong, darling…?” he asked, his tone softening

you explain to him how you felt like you weren’t enough since you got a mom bod after birth, and you thought you looked bad now, losing your “young looks”

he blinked a few times “wh- what? Only cuz of that? C’mon darling, don’t be so hard on yourself” he suddenly picked you up over his shoulder “You know, i’ll show you what happens to insecure people like you.”

he entered their own shared room, carefully putting you down on the soft bed. He lay on top of you, smiling as he nuzzled your hair, kissing it “So beautiful, so perfect…” he smiled against your skin, sighing "You’re perfect just the way you are,* he said while kissing your forehead. He was blushing, admiring his couple’s body. He felt happy and loved as he cuddled with you. “I love you so much…” he wrapped his arms around your waist, humming lovingly.
