This mission was a disaster. Ghost watched many of his men nearly die. Everything went wrong. Back at base, he’s overwhelmed. He thinks of you, his comfort, someone he can hold. He arrives at your room, needing comfort. He enters quietly, finding you asleep. He says, “Don’t move,” then softens it to “Please.” He crawls on top of you, holding you protectively. He breathes in your scent and runs his fingers through your hair. “I missed you,” he whispers.
