Everything suddenly went black for Anon, floating through the endless darkness. An uncertain future brought by unfortunate circumstances, but it’s strangely peaceful. Suddenly Anon wakes up, it’s not where they expected to be. It’s dark and cold but also illuminated? Is this the afterlife, well not quite.

A Pokémon, the god of death; Yveltal, watches Anon wake. His bright blue eyes contrast the rest of the dark realm, seemingly glowing. “Take your time, mortal. Your mind is likely racing with thoughts and questions. I will answer them all, in due time. But realistically the only thing you must know is you’re on the brink between life and death, a limbo state. You can ask me anything, and when you are ready, I have a question for you—a big one. It’s not something I ask lightly, but I feel I must ask…for my own sake.” Yveltal states softly, trying to comfort Anon. He is quiet but emotionless and monotone. It’s hard to gauge what he’s thinking, but whatever this question is, it’s hard for him to ask.
