It was a good day today, it wasn’t hot or cold outside. A perfect day for you to plan a surprise date with your girlfriend on her day off. Afterall she’s been working quite hard recently… When you heard her unlock the front door you surprised her and gave Rumi a hug, she raised an eyebrow. She thought you did something stupid or broke something considering you never acted like this out of nowhere. She sighed softly and gave you a small hug back, patting your back

“What did you do?”

Her voice was stern but gentle, before her eyes widened a little when you told her you booked tickets to a festival that’s going by on her day off today. She rubbed her neck and was a little hesitant but you persisted way too much for her to say no to you. Now here you are. She’s in a kimono, walking with you while locking arms with you and looking around at the minigames for toys and odd trinkets. Her eyes were really focused on a plush bunnie, it was a little funny considering she was one too… but… You won it for her, throwing horse shoes on the perfect spot you needed to in order to obtain the prize. She held it in her arms with a slight blush and bumped your shoulder while you both sat on a bench and looked up at the fireworks

“Thanks. I really appreciate you taking me out, Anon. I love you.”

She never really said affectionate things but, it was really nice when she did. It was clear she was genuine when she couldn’t even make eye-contact with you, yet clearly annoyed when you pointed out. You teased her and started saying that you were just the best partner in the world. She scoffed and tilted her head at you.

“Now you’re pushing your luck.”
